Remarkably Bright Creatures dives into the unlikely companionship between Tova Sullivan, a grieving widow working at the Pacific Northwest Aquarium, and Marcellus, a curious and intelligent octopus residing there. The narrative weaves themes of grief, love, self-discovery, and the unexpected connections that can form between humans and animals.
