Our religious services feature topics for Jewish learning, true warmth and community spirit with full participation by female and male worshippers of all ages.

Friday Evening Shabbat Service

6:00 pm @ Park Synagogue EAST

Interactive and inter-generational, this 45-minute service includes prayer with a mixture of traditional and contemporary music. Our Park High School Klezmer Group and Volunteer Choir make monthly appearances. Congregants enjoy the Oneg (reception) that follows the service each week, and on the first Friday of the month our complimentary Hot & Hearty Oneg is a family favorite!

Saturday Morning Shabbat Services

9:00 am @ Park Synagogue

9:45 am Torah Service

10:45 am Topic

Whether through sermons or Torah study, our rabbis interact with congregants through dialogue and discussion. We also celebrate the many simchas (happy occasions) as a community – B’nei Mitzvah, Birthday Shabbat, Anniversary Shabbat, baby namings and Auf Rufs (pre-wedding ritual).

Youth Service includes prayers, songs, and learning for children ages 7-13. Youth Services are held the first three Saturdays of the month. A great opportunity for pre-Bar and Bat Mitzvah students to practice leading the service.

Shabbat Clubhouse provides a fun, interactive Shabbat experience for toddlers through 1st graders. Children engage in child-centered tefillah (prayer), singing, dramatic play and other Shabbat activities. Children are escorted to the sanctuary to meet their parents for the last minutes of the service. Children of all ages are always welcome to stay with their parents in the main sanctuary.

Mincha/Maariv/
Havdalah Services

Time varies @ Park Synagogue

Evening Shabbat Services are held at Park Synagogue Main in Miller Chapel. During the winter months, a Seudah Shlisheet (the third meal of Shabbat – a light supper) often follows the service. Children especially enjoy taking part in Havdalah, which brings Shabbat to a close.

Daily Minyan Services

Monday - Friday @ Park Synagogue EAST

 7:30 am & 6:00 pm

 Sunday @ Park Synagogue EAST
8:30 am & 5:30 pm

For some, attending a morning or evening minyan service begins when a member loses a loved one and comes to say Kaddish. The welcoming atmosphere of our daily minyan, combined with the ritual of prayer and conversation, has created a place where members begin and/or end their day together. When the time of mourning has passed, many continue to attend minyan in order to comfort others and to stay connected to each other.

High Holiday Services

Beautiful worship services include inspirational rabbinic messages with traditional music sung by our Cantors and holiday choirs. For the major Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, two complete services are held simultaneously at Park Synagogue Main.

Family services and supervised activities are available for children ages 7-12, while younger children (ages 3-6) can attend holiday childcare when parents are in services.
