Everyone is invited to Gesher's Annual

SEUDAH & CINEMA

Everyone is invited by the Gesher Group for a special evening of food, fellowship and film. We’ll begin with the Mincha/Ma’ariv services, led by Gadi Galili, and then enjoy a Seudah, the 3rd Shabbat meal featuring a delicious Israeli buffet dinner. After the Havdalah service, we will be showing “Orchestra of Exiles,” the suspenseful chronicle of how one man helped save Europe's premier Jewish musicians from obliteration by the Nazis during World War II. In three years, Bronislaw Huberman was transformed from a world-renowned violinist to a humanitarian racing against time. The musicians Huberman saved went on to ultimately form the Israeli Philharmonic. With commentary by Itzhak Perlman, Zubin Mehta, Pinchas Zukerman, Joshua Bell and others.

There is no cost for this event, but donations to help cover the cost of the dinner are greatly appreciated.

Would you like to participate in the Mincha or Ma’ariv services? There are Hebrew and English parts available, including reading a Torah portion. Please let Ellen know what type of part you would like when RSVPing.
