Sisters in the Sukkah

Wednesday, September 30

7:00-9:00 pm • Park Synagogue

Speaker: Lisa Vahey, Co-Founder of Honesty for Ohio Education

Speaking on:

Why Book Bans Hurt Us All... And What We Can Do About It

With so many harmful things happening in the world, how do we find a way to take small actions that matter? Gather with fellow Park women & friends at our annual Sisters in the Sukkah program!

Enjoy fall desserts in Park's beautiful Sukkah before hearing from Lisa Vahey, Co-Founder of the non-profit Honesty for Ohio Education, to learn how they and other organizations work across Ohio to ensure we all understand the importance of honest, accurate, and complete teaching of history - and how book banning hurts students, educators and our community.

Please bring book donations that will be used to fill little free libraries in the Greater Cleveland area.

RSVP by Thursday, September 24 below. Questions? Contact Sasha Huston with any questions at shuston@parksyn.org or (216) 371-2244 x155.
