Take a guided tour of American Dream: Immigrants & the Business of Fashion with Patty Edmunson, Curator of Costumes & Fashion at the Cleveland History Center. The exhibit explores the lives and legacies of 4 Jewish immigrant women—Hattie Carnegie, Nettie Rosenstein, Irene Zerner Gothé, and Pauline Trigère—whose bold visions and entrepreneurial spirits transformed 20th century American fashion. Featured are clothes and stories from Clevelanders who wore the 4 designers’ creations and the stores that brought their fashions to NE Ohio. There will be time after the tour to walk around the History Center to see other exhibits and ride the Euclid Beach carousel.
