KEEPING SAFE IN TODAY'S UNPREDICTABLE WORLD

Wednesday, April 10 • 7:15 pm • Park

Featuring Jeff Robertson, Deputy Director of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Community Security Team

We, unfortunately, seem to hear often about mass shootings, anti-Semitic incidents, protests, and other situations that can put us in harm’s way. While as much as we would like, nothing can keep us totally safe in violent events. But we can try to be prepared so that if we do find ourselves caught in a dangerous happening, we can respond in a way that will help keep us safe and help us survive.

Join Jeff Robertson, Deputy Director of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Community Security Team, for a session that will teach us what to do and not do in an active shooter event and other dangerous occurrences, whether we are at the Synagogue or in another location. Jeff will take us through a simulated active shooter situation and help us be better prepared in case we are caught in this kind of scenario. He will also talk about personal safety on the streets and other public venues.

Free and open to all

Park members and the community.

Pre-registration is required by April 8 through the Park website, Weekly Wrap, or by contacting Ellen Petler at epetler@parksyn.org or 216-371-2244 ext. 122.

Sponsored by Park’s Social Action Committee
