Rabbi Sharon Marcus

Whether Rabbi Marcus is leading a preschool class in song, teaching an adult Bat Mitzvah group, supervising the youth program, or enlightening the congregation from the Bima, her love for Judaism and its mitzvot is clear. Rabbi Marcus has inspired the Park community with her energetic and thoughtful manner since joining us in 1999.

Six13 is a groundbreaking, six-man a cappella vocal band that is bringing an unprecedented style and energy to Jewish music, with nothing but the power of the human voice.

Juxtaposing the traditional and the contemporary, Six13 is anchored by a strong Jewish identity, fueled by soulful harmonies, intricate arrangements and their signature dynamic, full-band-like sound, and driven by a mission to connect Jews around the world with their heritage through music. The band is uniquely comprised of members from varied Jewish denominations and upbringings, creating an entertainment experience that has been universally acclaimed across the globe by Jewish organizations and individuals from equally varied backgrounds and generations.

Cantor Misha Pisman

Cantor Pisman’s beautiful tenor voice has been heard at Park since 1999. He has performed as a soloist and presented concerts throughout the United States and abroad. Cantor Pisman was the first Russian Jew to graduate as a Cantor from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He trains the adult and volunteer choirs, leads the Sunday School in prayer and shapes the liturgy during Shabbat and holiday services.

Ritual Director Gadi Galili

Gadi Galili was born in Jerusalem, Israel, where he was an officer in the Israel Defense Forces and graduated from the Hebrew University. In 1999, Gadi became Park’s Ritual Director. He prepares B’nei Mitzvah students, chants Torah readings, coordinates minyan services, and supervises our kosher kitchens. Gadi joyfully advises congregants in their daily observance.
